Stephen McDaniel & Twelve Angry Men

I was recently appalled by a relatively recent local murder case. It was especially appalling because the accused murderer is (was) a client of mine at work.

The details of the murder are horrifying, so horrifying that I wish no one was responsible for it.

So when I read that he and his family are adamant that he is innocent, I had hope that perhaps this could be a Twelve Angry Men case. Maybe Stephen McDaniel is not guilty no matter how seemingly so. Their confidence of his innocence gave me hope that he may indeed be innocent.

But other unrelated charges soon came against him, and that did not help bring down the prejudice already stacked against him, especially since those charges are related to sexual exploitation of children.

I had hoped that he is innocent .Whatever the truth is, may it be revealed.

As for Twelve Angry Men, I love the commitment to justice in it. Integrity and humilty shines in the movie.
